  • Docco:- It is made of bamboo as per Gorkha historian Docco is exist in our community around 5ad to modernization. 
  • To think a Gorkha life without Docco is impossible in old days this was one of the major tool to carry all the daily needs of livelihood.
  • Today the existence of Docco is getting gradually fade from our Gorkha community.
  • To preserve one of the greatest Revolutionary tool of our community All Assam Gorkha Tribal Students' Union is playing a major role in Assam Gorkha Community.
  • AAGTSU as usual this year also celebrating the revolutionary day as GORKHA DOCCO FESTIVAL at Joyhing Bazar Playground under the aegis of Lakhimpur District Committee along Joyhing Bazar aanchalik 
  • This year on 16 Nov 2019 Gorkha Docco Festival is bliss by the kind presence of AAMSU CHIEF ADVISOR AZIjr Rehman along Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science

Free Eye Check Up Camp - AAGTSU

Free eye Check Up camp by All Assam Gorkha Tribal Students' Union "AAGTSU" in collaboration to Birta eye & ent Hospital Nepal on 28th July 2024 at Lakhimpur veterinary Science College from 9 am to 3 pm.  The free eye check up will be teamed by Dr Monica Karmacharya one of the renowned doctor of Easter Nepal, who had served more then 50k patients so far.  Miss Pritiza Ghimire Ophthalmic officer Mr Roshan Khanal Ophthalmic officer Sudip Dhungana Optician Purnima Koirala, Marketing incharge Who is Dr Monica Karmacharya?  She is consultant ophthalmologist, Phaco surgeon, Ocular aesthetic.  One of the foremost expert in opthalmic field who has set new standard in eye care providing better vision as well as facial rejuvenation in eastern Nepal.  Medical services   It will be only free eye check up by the renowned Dr Monica Karmacharya.  Like wise spectacles and medicine have to purchased by the patient in a tooken of 10℅ discount provided by the Union....
